SEMI- PERMANENT #2
Practical. Relaxing. Dynamic.
Continuing with my original concept to keep the " private" spaces permanent and the public spaces flexible, my current revision allows for the space to ultimately adapt the users needs. For example, the living room sections off into the spare bedroom, the living room opens into the dining room and accommodates for 12 people. One of my priorities was to work with site lines and heights- I wanted to ensure if i was using permanent walls the space wouldn't feel to closed in. I tried to incorporate the use of frosted glass doors and negative space to create interest.
